Michelle joined NHBA in March 2025 as the Director of Social Work. 

She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Michelle has a strong dedication to client care and community engagement. Her experience consists of treatment planning, providing targeted interventions, advocacy, leading teams, and resource programming. 

Michelle is incredibly passionate about social justice and is committed to creating an inclusive environment by advocating for the needs of every client she serves. Before joining NHBA, she worked as the School Social Work Lead in Hamilton County Schools. 

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her two children, traveling, doing yoga, and exploring Nashville.
