Janice has served as Staff Attorney at the Nashville Hispanic Bar Association since 2023. She provides pro bono legal services to low-income residents of Davidson County facing eviction and housing disputes. 

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Germanic studies, and Political Science from Indiana University and her J.D. from New York University School of Law. Before joining the Nashville Hispanic Bar Association, Janice specialized in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and security law matters, and venture capital financing. 

In addition, Janice served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and provided pro bono legal services for immigration and asylum cases, including U-Visas and VAWA self-petitions.
