(she/her/ella)

Paralegal

Since 2022, Ellie Campbell has been a bilingual Paralegal with the Nashville Hispanic Bar Association-Eviction Right to Counsel Program, focusing on housing crises and legal challenges. As a Cuban immigrant who has experienced housing insecurity and poverty, she is passionate about social justice and uses her lived experiences to advocate for low-income families, Black and Brown communities, people with disabilities, and individuals with limited English proficiency.

Ellie holds a degree in Legal Studies from Florida National University and has dedicated her career to housing advocacy. She started as a Home Visiting Specialist, supporting children at risk of abuse, and later worked as a Housing Specialist for an affordable housing program, conducting recertifications. She then became a Fair Housing Specialist at the Tennessee Fair Housing Council, where she conducted client interviews, led outreach initiatives, and provided Spanish interpretation to ensure everyone had access to the resources they needed.

In her free time, Ellie enjoys arts and crafts, playing with her dogs, and unwinding with a good book.
