Citlali Padilla
(she/her/ella)
Program Administrator
Citlali joined the Nashville Hispanic Bar Association in 2024 as the Program Administrator, focusing on strategic planning and development to support the Eviction Right to Counsel Program.
Originally from Kansas, Citlali moved to Nashville in 2021 to pursue a Master’s in Theological Studies at Vanderbilt Divinity School. As a proud Latina and first-generation graduate student, she studied the intersections of religion, culture, and social justice, which fueled her passion for equity, advocacy, and amplifying marginalized voices.
Previously, Citlali worked as a Health Policy and Advocacy Associate, where she built relationships with community-based organizations, coordinated outreach events, and provided educational resources to the community. Citlali took a keen interest in the accessibility of public assistance programs for immigrant communities, offering a unique perspective on the intersection of poverty, healthcare, and housing insecurity.
In her free time, Citlali likes to spend time with family and friends, reading books, building Legos, and taking walks with her mini Australian Shepherd.
